Servers 639 & 640 down??

Hi all, haven't been able to connect to my sites for the last 10 minutes or so, main one being www.clubaristo.net

Tried to send a support ticket, but after sending, the foloowing page didn't load properly??

Anyone else having problems??

My first one with Hostgator

Mmm, they're saying there is no problems and it's working fine, yet I, and yourself cannot access it.

Anyone else spare a minute please??

It seems OK to me though it took about a minute to load..

Thanks for that, normally is instant, they're still saying there's nothing wrong and something about servers/internet backbone etc etc, all over my head. I find it so odd that I can visit every other site I normally do without any problems, but just not the ones I've hosted with HostGator.

I guess I have to wait it out.

Gone again

I just don't understand, how it's only my sites hosted with HostGator that I can't view.

I have access here, obviously, access to my CP, but nothing else related to my sites.

Everything else I visit is working fine.

Can anyone explain this in layman terms??

If you can access cPanel then it sound like a problem with Apache on the server

Got a failed httpd (1.3.39 (Unix)) whatever that is in the Server status screen (something to do with Apache by the looks of it)

Onto live support now.

It seems to be back to full speed here aswell, for the moment......

Be nice to get an explanation, as I think there is more to it than I was being told by Live Support.

Not knocking them, as was good to be able to talk to someone so quickly, unlike my previous Hosts.

There were some abusive users which were suspended and an offensive IP which was blocked due to an attack on the server. Sorry for the inconvenience. Please always try and lodge a ticket first, then call or chat to get attention to it if you see something like this.

As a side note... if you think it might be your internet connect you can always try a proxy browser. Here are a couple but there are dozens.

When I change the DNS for my websites I use proxy browsers to to see if the changes caused any problems.

Thanks for that, I've been busy and forgot to update the thread, I got a very good response from my submitted ticket. No need to apologise, sh*t happens, it's how it's dealt with that is the main thing 5* service on that front.

I will be writing my first review very soon
