Server is very slow for a few days already

Hi, I have only been with hostgator for about 1 month but the server my site is hosted on is very slow for a couple of days now.

Have you got a domain we can try?

On a side note, i get the following from mcafee when loading the ip:

70.87.105.130/ may try to steal your information.

Only an adult domain on that server. As for that warning message I don't know, it's not my server nor is my site responsible for it.

I loaded several sites that are on that server and all loaded pretty quickly for me. You might try running a traceroute from your computer to your site and see where the slow down might be. Sounds like it is either routing or the code on your page slowing it down.

Hi, I'm running an exact copy of that site on another host and it loads in 6,23 seconds. Loading the same site on hostgator takes more than half a minute. So I guess the problem is not on my side nor in my sites code. Site contains a lot of graphics.

You mean all the images load under a second for you? On my side it takes a very long time for all the thumbs to load.

Loaded quite fast for me to and even faster disappearing before my son seen it!

Hm sorry about that, should of stated again that it was an adult site. Strange that it loads fast for you two while it is so damn slow on my side and my stats do also show a very low traffic-productivity compared to a copy of that site running elsewhere with the same traffic resources. Thanks for your feedback anyway!

Probably routing from your ISP to the server. You would need to run a traceroute to determine where the slowdown is occuring. It doesn't seem to be the server.

Run a traceroute from your pc to the server and post it here
