Question Server timing out (cpanel)

My domain is active and my hosting is all on go. However, when I try to get into cpanel or email, The server times out. I spent tons of time on the phone with a very helpful person, but we could not figure it out. I am running windows 7. I am a newbie, but there is no need for hosting that I cannot access. Anyone else have this issue when first logging into cpanel?

I was under the impression that Windows servers used Plesk not cPanel. If you are trying to log into cPanel then I would have thought that you were on a Linux box not a Windows one.

Rather confusing post as you have posted in the Windows Dedicated Server section, but you are mentioning cpanel which is on Linux Servers.

What hosting package did you sign up for?

Make sure your firewall is not blocking port 2082 and you are not picking up any spaces if you are copying and pasting the password.

Post a screen shot of the error so we can see what is happening. A trace route would be helpful too...

Oddly enough, I can log in on my work computer. Must be related to my network or something...

If the site responds normally try cheching the FTP, if it works fine as well, there may be a possibility of cPanel being crashed on the server.

But, it more seems to be an issue with your local IP getting blocked by server firewall. You may check on this with the support.
Or as stated by Steve, you must check if the port 2082 is blocked by local firewall.

If nothing goes well, you may do a tracert from your local PC and send output to your host for further check or you may paste it here. It should help others if they encounter a similar problem.
