Hi,
We're a reseller and all of our php sites are showing the php code! This is the second time this has happened. All database passwords and configuration information is showing as plain text in the browser and not being processed. This is very insecure. We would rather the sites went down during a php upgrade or whatnot instead of being without php and showing the code to the world. What's going on? I've never seen sites showing php code before and this is the second time for us. Help! |

Are you sure you've given the files the php extension? Did you play around with your htaccess file? Can you post or at least PM me with your site?

We haven't touched anything. All files are .php. We have a support ticket going and live chat sent the ticket id with a 'priority' message. Every single site just starts showing php. Last time this happened, support noted that they had to recompile the web server and configuration at that time (ticket number AOH-313597). I didn't expect it to happen again.
Some of the sites are starting to come back now but it has been about 45 minutes at least at this point. Some of the sites are now processing php with the full URL but not with the domain name only (e.g. http://www.malkins.com shows php code but http://www.malkins.com/index.php processes it). |
