Thumbs up Re: Server Pricing

Did you just ask a business if there price is to high?

Do you think any business is going to say, "Yes are prices are too high, I would suggest you find another company to use."

Now as a customer here with two different plans, I will say you get what you pay for. Yes there are cheaper companies than Host Gator and there more expensive ones as well.

Cheaper is not always better. I tried that here on one of my accounts. I cancelled it and moved to another hosting company ( A company that is well known for great uptime and service). I was back here at Host Gator within a week. Grass isn't always greener on the other side.

HostGator's prices are by no means too high. I have found much lower prices, but I've also heard bad things about these other companies.

Also look at what you get. You get quality support, (which requires a good staff), you get many nice services, like whm autopilot, for example, for free, and countless other things. I think it is perfectly fine.

Like the other have said. You get what you pay for.

I have been with some other hosting companies myself. One in particular lost all of my websites due to hard disk crash/failed. They offered my $5.00 hosting charge for the month as a refund for my trouble. Host Gator has it's share of problems just like any other host. Host Gator will do all that they can to help you get your sites back up and running.

I have found none better than Host Gator.

Ok Ok my turn hehehe

i would reccomend Hostgator to anyone who asked me for a reliable web hoster, they are the closest thing i have found to 100% uptime they have live support via a Chat applet thay also have the following means of contact

Phone:

24/7 sales and support lines:

1-866-96-GATOR

1-561-208-8665

Messenger

AIM: gatorsupport3
ICQ: 345656324

YIM: tech_hostgator

MSN: tech@hostgator.com

E-mail

sales@hostgator.com

support@hostgator.com

billing@hostgator.com

whenever i have had a prob which is'nt that often i go straight to the chat applet and within minutes sometimes an hour or two the problem is sorted out.

give them a try LandonCowling i think you'll like them and btw guys i had one of those rip off hosts too claimed it had a 99% uptime they must be dislexic or illiterate or maybe just plain irish hehehe because it was more like 99% downtime and im going to post there name too if hostgator admin want to remove it they can............ my hosting from hell was provided by hosting.pp.com

Cool Re: Server Pricing

I would just like to say, I have spent a week looking at several hosting compaines and their prices. For what you get at Hostgator (cPanel) for instances, costs $50 or more a month else where. Add that in addition to other addon's some hosting companies charge and you'll find Hostgator has them beat in price. Those other hosting companies give you a bare price to make it look like their cheaper, trying adding all the software and addons Hostgator has and you'll who's the best.

P.S. I called Hostgator at 1:22 am (Eastern Time) about a question on their product and guess what? A live person answered the phone! Try that else where.
