Server error info for beginners

Here are some outside links about what's going on when your site throws up one of those messages with a number instead of the page you thought you were going to see.

These are also called server errors, or Apache errors (Apache being the software that runs the server*).

As always, your mileage can vary; if you find the way one link presents the info, try another.
