The VPS hosting use a separate billing account, it will not use the same billing account you have with HG. https://gbclient.hostgator.com/ is very clean and looks promising but if you file a ticket via its form the ticket will always go to SEO Sales department even if you filed it to support. And that Department seem alienated, I have a ticket there for about 10 hours ago, fortunately no body cares to answer. This is not how I know about HG. Any experience with this?

All my tickets have been answered and dealt accordingly with high level of professionalism. I understand how busy you are for now dealing with the VPS. For the future readers, this post has been made when the VPS is few days old (less than a week I think) and in Soft launch. By the time you are reading this, I am sure VPS is stable. And to GatorDavid, I am just used to be hold in less than a minute. It is still very true in non-VPS issues.

I still have two support accounts & I have definitely noticed it takes longer for responses thru the VPS Support account than my other one.
On a positive note every-time I have asked for support HG has done Awesome as usual!!! So far my VPS is AWESOME!!! |

I agree, the new client area looks really nice, and I hope that in the near future, it will be integrated into the main site rather than the current setup where billing and ticket systems are separate. And I have no problem with wait times, since I realize that this is a soft launch and everybody at HG are busy trying to prepare it for a stable launch.
