Opened up a $14.95/month account with PayPal. At that point I should have received at a minimum an automatically generated email confirming the account from you guys, with a link to this section.

Better, it would requisition an account immediately and send me an automatically email with:

* Server connection information for FTP'ing, WWW directories, Perl & MySQL versions, streaming server info, etc.
* How to log in for support requests
* Pointer to this messageboard
* Explanation of pointing my DNS records here and how long propagation will take
* Explanation of what happens if my bandwidth limit is exceeded and how to throttle it automatically (not gonna happen, I know, but I can dream!)
* Pointer to a tutorial session showing how to set up my first web page (useful for beginners)

Because right now I'm left wondering what happened (well, not really - the guys on www.webhostingtalk.com rave about HostGator so I'm not worried, but if I were a customer without that prior knowledge I'd be a bit nervous).

Why are you responding to a thread that is more than eight and a half years old?
