Hello everyone, I am a student photographer and I would like to sell my photos to other students and their parents (I photograph sporting events). Is there an easy way to do this through hostgator, if so what is it. Optimally it would be linked to a pay-pal account. Thanks in advance!

I think Gallery may be able to do this. Can anyone else confirm?

Gallery, Coppermine, and other such scripts do allow using services such as Shutterfly to print if I remember correctly. Not sure how easy it would be to sell your photos using them, however.
Personally, the option I chose was to use a service specifically designed to sell photos. SmugMug has a professional plan that allows you to use your domain name and you can set the prices for the photos. I didn't sell enough photos to make it worthwhile but still use a lower plan to store my photos. |

Another option is to build albums with jAlbum, and use one of the skins that includes a "shopping cart" option (most of the skins don't - the FotoPlayer and Turtle skins would be at the top of the list of those that do). With this application, you build the albums on your PC, and upload the finished pages, so there's no server-side activity until someone clicks the "buy" button.

Thanks for all the responses. I think I will use smugmug if I think I can make a profit.
