Ok, I am interested in selling off one of my websites which I may not have time to pursue... But am confused about some of the logistics behind it...
1. Domain... this should be easy, I manage my domains through godaddy, so a simple push transfer to new owner takes care of that. 2. Website content... Im assuming the most common thing here would be to ftp download all related files to hard disk and then send to new owner. Correct? Are 1 and 2 the common protocol when someone sells a site to someone else? 3. Problem A... The site I'm referring to would happen to be my primary for my hostgator account. I have other sites beneath this as add-on domains. How on earth do I handle this situation? 4. Problem B... Anything else I should know or be considering? |

For number 3-- change your primary add-on domain first:
https://secure.hostgator.com/changedomain.php You'll have to redo your addons, unfortunately.
