Sebflipper (ipb) multiforums!

Would I be allowed to run Sebflipper multiforums on HostGator, I tried with my other host, and I'm having some problems, and it's properly the host's fault.

Before I buy hosting from here, I just want to know if it will run properly on HostGator, and possibly someone that already runs it on here to prove their website.

i tried to do a search for the term "Sebflipper multiforums" & THIS THREAD WAS the 2nd on GOOGLE !! while http://www.sebflipper.com/ which i'm assuming is the site for the script was 8th!!

Requirements

1. Linux/Unix based server (Windows based web servers are not supported)
2. Running Apache and PHP 4.4.0 or higher
3. MySQL Database Server
4. The script can be either used on a shared or dedicated server
5. Tested with Invision Power Board v1.3 Final

Technically, all these requirements are met by HG's plans.

Now the Question "is it legal to run multiforums?" does worry me a bit, you need to check this with HG support / IPB ??

Maybe if you could give us an idea of what "problems" you are having on the other host we could see if those same problems would affect you here.

Yeah. Without knowing what the other host's issues were, it's pretty hard to say whether or not it would be a concern here.

If you have downloaded IPB 1.3.0 before it was no longer available on IPS, then it is legal (I believe), otherwise you cannot use it.
Your best bet is to contact IPS.
