Default Search engine for website

I'm thinking about adding a search engine / website indexer to my website.
The best script I've found so far is KSearch , are there any other recommended (free) scripts in this category ?

google does one, atomz is another

Some of these 'external search scripts' aren't webpage friendly (depending on your layout), say your site is a HTML how to site, if your navigation is at the top or on the left and you name your links as you should (name them what they are for better search engine linkage) you will find the scripts report back mostly the same page, or all of your pages. example say one of your links was "colour codes" and someone searched for 'code', every page would return in the results as the navigation is searched for before the content.
Some scripts allow you to block certain links but the best way around it is to use a right navigation, this way the content is always searched first.
