Good morning,

We currently offer Fantastico and also our brand new in house script installer QuickInstall for our customers. You would need at least a VPS to have the above programs installed, however QuickInstall should be sufficient for all script installs.

Will hostgator ever consider "Softaculous" ? They have way more programs to choose from, besides fantastico hasn't been updated in forever.

We have no reason to install "Softaculous", we've built our own In-House script installer. Have you tried this out yet?

Nope just had a look, the only thing i can now suggest is adding a couple "Social networking" clones. Other than that....GREAT JOB !

Installatron offers users to install older or newer versions of many scripts. If user want to install magento V1.4.1 then its matter of selection during installation. So we are not stuck with latest release if we don't want to upgrade. The whole process is very easy and efficient.
