Default Scheduled Maintenance?

This is the message I get when I go to my sites. Is it just me?

Under Maintenance

We are currently performing scheduled maintenance. We will be back soon!

Not just you.

I'm pretty sure it has to do with the "Apache2+CentOS5 migration."

Now, exactly what that entails, I'm not sure.

Check the "General Announcements". It lists which servers are currently undergoing the operating system and apache upgrades. Seems to be taking Patrick < 2 hours per batch of servers.

If you got to a site such as http://network-tools.com/ and enter your domain to run a traceroute you will see the server name at the last hop in the list.

If you look in your cPanel the server you are on is listed on the left hand side menus.

I believe cPanel shows that information, but only with certain Themes?

I have x3, and it does show me my server name in that one.

From other posts HG is getting close to rolling out a custom theme on shared servers. In the past you would need to open a help desk ticket to request a theme change.

Does it say 'server' or is it called by a different name?

Thanks!

If you are on the x3 theme, yes it does. If you are on the older x theme, I don't believe it shows at all. To change to the newer x3 theme, just email support at hostgator dot com.

Thanks. I must be on an older version because it doesn't say anything about server. I'll email support like you suggested. Thanks again.
