Scheduled File System Maintenance : ext

We will be taking ext offline tonight for some file system repairs at 3:15 AM CST. We will get the server back online when the repairs are finished. We applogize for any inconvenience this causes. We will update this thread when the repairs are finished.

The file system maintenance on ext is finished and the server is back online and serving pages. Please understand for issues like this, the longer the file system is uncorrected, the more data loss occurs. Waiting a few hours is an acceptable risk, waiting a few days risks losses that we are not comfortable with.

We try to schedule this downtime for periods where traffic is the lowest, but scheduling this a full five days out would result in major file loss as opposed to very minor and major file loss is something we try to avoid at all costs.
