Default Saleen Disk sda3 (/usr) 91% and Rising

I checked into the server status via cpanel yesterday and saw that this drive was 89% with a flashing yellow icon. This morning it was at 90%. I just checked it and now it is at 91% with a flashing red icon.

I am concerned about performance degradation or worse!

Could somebody address this or allay my fears?

Thanks,

Steve

So far it's under 100% it's no problem at all... but you can just send an email to support@hostgator.com and ask them to take care of it.

I think I had that problem a while back. It was at 100% for about 24 hours, anyway a quick email to support and it was fixed.

/usr is not a drive the is very large, so it isn't a problem. (In fact, it isn't really a drive at all, just a partition on a drive). At some point, they will allocate more space to it, but it wouldn't be a priority as the drive still is not full. Because allocating space to /usr is basically wasted space, they want to keep that drive as close to 100% as possible.
