Hi All,
I know sar -q displays CPU load averages for the current day. How can I use this command to find CPU load averages for a different date ? Please help. Thanks, Kamalkk |

Thank you for working with us on this issue, if your system has sysstat installed it will probably maintain log data for 7 days by default. The additional files that can be parsed are located in /var/log/sa. In order to pull data for different dates you should use sar -q -f /var/log/sa/sa# . Keep in mind that since you are on a vps some of the data listed in sar reports may not pretain to your specific container. VPS containers in our network share certain attributes with the host node and that may be reflected in the outputs you find in your system status reports.
