Routing Issues for Comcast customers

We have started getting reports from various customers who use Comcast that they are having trouble connecting to some of our servers. We are still gathering information about this issue to see if there is anything that we can do on our end. If you have any more relevant information we will update this post.

We have gathered several traceroutes from multiple clients and a definite pattern has emerged. Each of these traceroutes illustrate a routing loop in some of Comcast's routers where traffic is bounced back and forth between two routers indefinitely. We are working with our Data Center to see if there is anything that can be done on our end to help with this issue.

There is currently an issue with the Comcast network. We are awaiting an update on the progress of the troubleshooting and mitigation of the issue by Comcast. We will update this thread as soon as there is more information.

Our Data Center has confirmed the routing problem on Comcast's network and we are currently waiting on an update from Comcast regarding this issue.

Our Data Center has reported that they have a workaround in place and traffic is being routed correctly now. If you are still having trouble please submit a support ticket with a traceroute to one of our servers attached so that we can troubleshoot any further issues.
