Rodney Wr - Support terrible [Resolved]

Hi Hostgator!


I'm very disappointed with my host and Rodney Wr

I switch to hostgator because they tell me you guys are the best and the #1 hosting in the world but well that's not my problem and I feel like switch to another hosting and get money back

my problem

in my old hosting I have 3 domains and those 3 domains they load from folders not from public_html

look

el-jangueo.com load from the folder call el-jangueo

xtremegfx.net load from the folder call xtremegfx

latincrib.net load from the folder call latincrib

I want to be the same here on hostgator

I have

xtremgfx.net loading from folder call xtremegfx

latincrib.net loading from folder call latincrib

but my primary domain is not loading from folder call el-jangueo

is loading from public_html

I try to get this to work or fix using the liva chat support but Rodney Wr

is not giving me the right support is telling me is not possible everything in this world is possible this work on my 3 old hosting why in hostgator is not going to work then he take for ever to respond me take a look I add the proof everytime I want to use the live chat is something new with you guys

I know my spell is realy bad but I ca nread perfect and understand everything you tell me but don't tell me is not possible

can you please load my primary domain el-jangueo to load from the folder call el-jangueo not from public_html

Hello,

I apologize for the way this chat was handled. We do have an alternative method to assist you with handling your domains this way, unfortunately it isn't as simple as changing the document root of your primary domain. What we can do is change the primary domain on your account and add it as an addon domain so you can choose the document root.

The reason why we are unable to change the document root for your primary domain is because it disables Fantastico from working properly, breaks database configurations and potentially causes other issues to arise.

I have PM'd you instructions on how we can proceed to get you set up.

Yes please can you do that for me I don't have nothing install on my primary domain or database for that domain is empty

Per our conversation the primary domain change has been completed and your domain is now an addon domain which is using your document root.

The technician that originally worked with you on this has been spoken to about the incident and is now well-aware of the alternative solution.
