Default Review brentfm's review

I guess it's time for another "Review the Review" thread. See brentfm's post http://forums.hostgator.com/sites-ta...7.html?t=41697

Once again, someone with (what appears to be) a legitimate complaint handles it badly with Chat and the Ticket Process, then entertains us all with a running account of all the work he's doing to fix the problem himself - all while 2 HG staffers practically beg him to ACTUALLY SUBMIT A TICKET so they can help.

He has time to keep a running conversation going with the HG staff in the forum (plus post in other forums, from his statement), but he can't spend 2 minutes to submit a ticket.

I'm surprised it hasn't been moved from "Customer Reviews" already - brentfm is not USING HG's support service, so how can he be REVIEWING those services?

Been having a chuckle at this one too.

It's quite similar to this recent thread where the same user was given some clear direction.

The original is practically a parody of a bad review...the sort that intends to insult HG but inadvertently becomes a real tribute.

Like many of those situations, what otherwise might be a valid point (in this case, upgrade without notification) is overshadowed by the reviewer's account.

In the "I knew support wouldn't help so I didn't try" genre, however, the standard set by the classic Wallee, step on down. You've won the croc is right! is very, very high.
