Update: Everything is back to normal now. HostGator's support operations are functioning normally.
___________________________________ Our office is currently experiencing a power and Internet outage that started as a result of an electrical issue at our office. Update at 6:30 PM CT: We have setup two satellite offices and have employees working in each one of them. While our staffing is limited, we are taking chats, monitoring servers, and handling tickets as quickly as possible. Update at 7:15 PM CT: The electrical issue was the result of a major problem with a major CenterPoint transformer. We have a team working on our generator now, which should bring our office back to normal. There are several crews from different companies at our office working on getting everything back to normal and fixed up. Thank you for your continued patience. Update at 8:00 PM CT: CenterPoint is investigating the issue with their transformer. There are five to six trucks on-site now. Update at 9:00 PM CT: Power is back at the building. Our IT team is investigating the facility now and verifying what systems need do and don't need additional attention. Update at 9:15 PM CT: We have some fuses broken in our A/C units, which we obviously need to fix before we can send employees back to the office. Update at 10:20 PM CT: We have contracted someone to fix our A/C units, which they are working on now. We are expecting to have our graveyard shift working in our office like usual. They will be coming in over the next couple of hours. As staffing increases at our office, our level of support and customer service will steadily get back to normal levels. Update at 11:30 PM CT: We have people working in our office now. All graveyard shift employees are reporting for work at the office like normal. A/C and most other services are restored to the building. Update at 11:50 PM CT: We are working on restoring our phone system. We should be able to receive calls shortly. Update at 12:00 AM CT: Phones should now be online. All support mediums (phone, live chat, and email support) are now fully operational. Update at 12:10 AM CT: Everything is back to normal. We apologize for the inconveniences that were experienced during this outage. Phones: Online (normal) Live Chat: Online (normal) Ticket System: Online (normal) Customer servers and websites are unaffected by this outage. No customer servers are located in our office. We are working as quickly as possible to get things resolved.
