Is reselling hosting a good biz venture?

Hello, I am interested in becoming a resller I just wanted to get some insight from some of you that are in the biz. Are any of you making any profits. Also what are some of the pros and cons of the hosting biz.

Well, of course we're all going to say "no - it's a waste of time" - coz we don't want you competing with us

To be honest though, if you are a web developer - or in some way already associated with the internet as part of your business, then it can be good.

To make your own assessment, look at the web hosting packages offered by the bigger hosting companies in the country where you live, look at the reseller packages here, see how much you would charge and how that compares with those big companies.

Do a search on google for web hosting - there's a lot of competition.

Have a look at the thread with the poll on this very forum asking how many sites people host - for the majority it's a few only.
