Another way to differentiate your self from the competition would be to provide resellers with some information that you have developed for your own site.
For example. I want to add Troubleshooting tips to my website and It would be nice if I could lean on your knowledge base. This could either be done various ways. - An XML export of your knowlege base (my preference) - An RSS Feed of your knowledge base - A read only link to the knowlegebase tables Another useful export would be a list of the Web hosting features and thier descriptions that I can use for developing my pages. |

though some tools might be great, we have to be carefull not to all start having identical or very close sections in our sites. SEO works best with unique content, and i wouldn't want my HG site to resemble the cookie-cutter sites of our GoDaddy Bretheren... (disclaimer - i have a GD reseller account as well but for an entirely different niche)
i would probably take what HG offered and "turn" it a bit for my own use but i wouldn't use it as it was offered

Good point,
Using the export option, people could tweak the content to be distinct. Also a user could exclued the FAQ from the robots.txt |
