Default Reseller startup

I just purchase a reseller plan (24GB/250GB).

I read http://www.hostgator.com/resellerinfo.shtml but I still cannot manage my account.
There it says "Note: If you purchased your domain from us we will handle the dns changes including your private name servers setup.".

Will you setup my private nameservers automaticaly or do I have to send you some special request?

Than it says "
  1. Login at http://the-ip-listedin-your-welcome-email/whm
  2. You must setup a hosting package by selecting "Add Packages." We recommend you pick the skin "x" for your packages.
  3. After a package has been setup click "create a new account" and fill in the information you wish the account to have. When creating a site select the auto assign IP and fill in the site name as domain.com without the http or www."
I need some help with this. I go to my whm. Then I go to "add packages". How do I set it for my plan 24GB/250GB?

New Package Name: main
Max FTP Accounts: unlimited
Max Email Accounts: unlimited
Max Email Lists: unlimited
Max Databases: unlimited
Max Sub Domains: unlimited
Max Parked Domains: unlimited
Max Addon Domains: unlimited
CGI Access: check
Frontpage Extensions: check
Quota MB: 24000MB
Bandwidth MB: 250000MB
cPanel Theme: x
Feature List: default

Then I go to "create a new account".

Domain: mydomain.com
UserName: IchooseUsername
Password: IchoosePassword
Contact Email: myemail
Package: main
Frontpage Extensions: check
Cgi Access: check
Use domain registry nameservers: check (does it has anything to do with private nameservers?)

Is this correct? If not please tell me what I did wrong?

How do I get acces to other forums now that I am your customer?

If you plan to add any other domains to your account then you will be out of disk space and bandwidth. I would change the Quota to something more reasonable such as 1 or 2 gigs and the bandwidth to 5 gigs so that you have space left for other accounts. I would also uncheck the Use Domain Registry Nameservers.

So here I setup package and account for me (the first one).

Why would you uncheck the Use Domain Registry Nameservers?

keeping it checked would point your domain to the existing nameservers pair on your domain records.

you normally have to go into the registrar where the domain for your nameservers is registered and set them up there. check the support section for instructiosn on doing this for various registrars.

I purchased domain here at HG. In the instructions it says "Note: If you purchased your domain from us we will handle the dns changes including your private name servers setup.".
