Reseller PHP / MySQL version
Hi Folks,
How proactive are HostGator with PHP updates (and MySQL and PHPMyAdmin). According to the reseller spec you're running 5.2.0 which was released in November 2006? Maybe the spec is out of date? There do seem to have been a lot of bug fixes since that release http://www.php.net/ChangeLog-5.php#5.2.0 kamm...

My version has 5.2.2 for PHP5.

Hi,
We run php 5.2.2 on all of our shared boxes- we should probably update that part of the reseller specification page. We're very proactive in updates, but we're not going to update everything to nightly releases or anything, leaving the server configuration buggy and unstable. We pick the build that's most stable on the server, and most secure depending on our server setup. As far as phpMyAdmin, that's updated with cPanel, and updates run nightly.
