I would like to know if the reseller server can get a different ip. The ip seems to be black listed and some of my clients are not able to get their emails sent and are being blocked via spam filters. Any feedback would be appriciated.

Many times when an IP is blocked due to spam, a whole IP block suffers, not just the individual address.
For instance: You're on 216.81.240.122 Some ISP's may block 216.81.240.000 - 216.81.240.999 cuz of spam by someone on 216.81.240.122. I don't know why they do - but it happens. I don't think that all ISP's block with that much of a range, but some do (I think AOL?) I'm getting it too, but it looks like I am only getting rejected by 1 ISP at the moment. In other words it most likely would not do a lot of good to get a new IP, you'd have to move to a server with a new block. |
