Reseller IP Addresses

Bit confused over the reseller account and IP addresses!

Since multiple domains can be created, a unique IP address is created for each new domain - however i have read in the forums a shared IP address is used.

But seeing a friends reseller account in the WHM accounts i can see each account has a diff IP address such as: 174.120.129.XX, and the package used to create these accounts has the option unticked to have a Dedicated IP address

When you create an account in WHM the account is using a shared IP address.

The sites are showing different ips because there are 4 shared ips generally on a server. The accounts are spread out to help mitigate ddos attacks.
