Reseller Account or Dedicated Server?

What I need for a free web hosting site (php,mysql,cpanel) with medium traffic ? A reseller account whit and cpanel/whm is enough? Or it’s better a dedicated server?

I am not sure HostGator allows free web hosting websites. Please check the terms and conditions. Personally I think it would be a bad idea to have one on a reseller account or dedicated account, how do you plan to make money?

I'd say that for that you'd need a dedicated server.
Remember that you can not oversell in a reseller account, but in dedicated you can

No, as a reseller you can not oversell.

You would probably want a dedicated anyways. If you have random people sign up for free accounts and they start running spam scripts and such, your reseller account would be suspended more than it would be running.

You'd also probably get booted to a dedicated eventually anyways.
