Negative Request Sandbox Shell Account

I understand the security risk involved in HG providing shell access. It would be nice, however, for HG to set up a sandbox for testing shell scripts run off of cron jobs.

I have developed several PHP apps, that run off a cron job to transfer files from site to site, decompress files, run php scripts to parse data and build MySQL tables on the fly. The only problem is it takes a lot of time to build and debug when it comes to problems that might be in a shell script --- i.e. :

change script, change cron, cron runs, see results, change script, upload script, reset cron time, run cron, change script, change cron, ... urf --

Default Re: Request Sandbox Shell Account

It would be far easier for you to just run them locally. Just setup an apache server on your windows box and test away.
