I really hoped Hostgator can remove this restriction.Imagine if I have thirty email users in an office. All connected to the same router with same WAN IP.All the users can only check their email once every hour.
![]() Whereby imap can be used for unlimited check and we have to leave large amount of email data on the server.Isn't it not as practical and resource friendly? ![]() I have suggestion, maybe not to restrict for Business Plan,a business plan should be used by businesses,so expect more email accounts and users per domain. I do not mind no unlimited domains but please remove the restricted pop function.

Good Morning,
Thank you for contacting Hostgator.com. We appreciate you taking the time to send this suggestion. This is certainly a suggestions that we get from time to time, so we're more then happy to discuss this with you. As this is a suggestion specifically though I'll also be moving this to the proper forum. I see there is also an additional thread you'd posted regarding this where a few other forum users have replied. While it's true that a VPS/Dedicated solution would get you around this limit, I think it's worth noting you can also configure your email client to actually download a local copy of the email and delete it from the server much like POP3 functions if that's preferable. That said, due to various concerns with resources, connections and IO it's difficult to simply remove the pop limit altogether. While that may ultimately not be the outcome you'd hoped for, I believe the limit does more good then harm in it's current implementation. Should you have any other questions, comments or concerns please feel free to PM me directly here on the forums. Best Regards,

The security is just tightened on this. But this would be a great convenience once implemented.
+1.
