Default register_globals off

OFF would be the preferred setting for the entire server. I set my own site to off, but I didn't realize before I purchased hosting that the default setting is 'on'. It's a security risk, too much so.

I see that magic_quotes is being changed to off. Is there a plan for doing the same for register_globals?

See these threads in the public categories--if you have access to the others, there's also information there.
