Angry referring sites

How do I prevent sites from somehow linking to my site? I have two web sites showing up in my stats as referring sites, but I can't tell what they are referring to - just linking to me, stealing bandwidth somehow, or what.

They are definitely not related to my site, as well. I used the IP Deny Manager under Cpanel, but they've already shown up as having over 100 references just today! (http://trail.bounceme.net, http://dirty.isa-geek.org)

Do I also add them to the Hotlinking Protection? I have that set up so only my domains are allowed. I don't get why all of a sudden these two sites are showing up. It started in late December, and my investigation is limited since I don't have access to resources other than Cpanel.

Any insight or help would be greatly appreciated!! Especially if this turns out to be something illegal. Thanks!

I don't see why you are os upset about that. It's more traffic for you, isn't it? You can only contact them and ask them not to link to you, if you really don't want them to.

IP Deny won't work because the IP itself isn't coming to your site, but people from that website when they click the link.

The reason I am bothered (if you visit those two pages) is because neither of them are related to my site, I can't tell if they are real sites, I can't tell in what way they are linking to my site, and they for all intents and purposes seem to be porn sites. Since they are showing up as links to my music archive, that just seems a bit off to me. And over 100 hits in less than 1 day?? It strikes me as suspicious, that's all.
