Redirects and why can't search

Ok, newbie (to Gator) here.

First, is this the correct forum to post general questions about the Gator service? If not sorry..

My real question... How can I create redirects that support wildcard, like
/products/* -> /dir1/dir/products.php?id=*

Last question... Why when I try to search a forum here does it tell me I'm not authorized?
