Default Is a redirect what I need?

I changed my domain name, the new domain name is rachelbaine.com The site is up and running with this new name, but I want my old domain name to still work for past customers.

Is a redirect what I need to do? I tried using the redirect on cpanel typed in this:
** All Public Domains **/rachelclarephotography.com redirects to→ htpp://wwwrachelbaine.com but nothing happens when I go to my old site name.

Thanks

You're on the right track, but you've set it up incorrectly. On the cPanel Redirects page, select rachelclarephotography.com from the drop-down list where you see "All Public Domains." After all, you don't want to redirect all your domains, do you?

Then enter rachelbaine.com in the "redirects to" box.

Rachelclarephotography isnt in the drop down list, just the current site address and all public domains. Do I need to tell the Cpanel that I still own rachelclarephotography.com so I can set it up this way?

First add rachelclarephotography.com to your cPanel Account using Addon Domains

and then proceed with the redirect
