I just submitted the following review to a webhosting review site at

HostGator has a very impressive operation. Although their order acknowledgement email said my site would be available in an hour, I recieved the announcement of site availability (via IP address until DNS changes propagate) in just 13 minutes!

The administrative functions (cPanel) give you immediate control over every aspect of the site and email accounts. My queries to their tech support via email also had responses in moments.

The package offer for the KingCroc level is better than any competitor with comparable uptime statistics - I invite everyone to see the website for details.

They also have packages starting at $9.95, but I was replacing a more robust service I had with EarthLink. For the same costs, I got considerably more resources!
