Angry Reconfigure my problematic reseller account

Now that I see the new forum and review the features of current reseller plans, my reseller account is very old, it doesn't count with script features, enom account and is the half of space.

Can you reconfigure my account as a new one?

By the way and first of all, my site is down!!! It has been a recursive problem in the last two months. It generally last 1 or 2 hours but now It has been down a whole day.

I contacted support by msn messenger but it did not give an answer. I monitor my account from USA and Mexico and is offline now from yesterday night. To do it, I use at least 3 different ISP and you always say "It's coming at my end, it should be your ISP". I think 3 ISP in two countries mean OFFLINE. I may add more countries to monitor my account but you will always say the same.

For me, your term of Offline it's a little weird. If support is inhouse you will always see my site (that is not a problem for me), but if you get in troubles going to internet, the rest of the world wont see my sites (that is my problem and it means Offline).

Please don't became unresponsive this time cause I have dropped many hosts for exactly the same situation.

Are you still unable to access your site? I am able to access your site just fine from here in Atlanta. All I see at your main domain is an under construction message, though. Have you tried to run a tracert to determine exactly where the connection is being lost?

No, I cannot. I use fastmail.fm to monitor the smtp server (I'm not sure if their servers are located in New York or Texas)

The big point is that my account goes offline at exactly the same time for fastmail and me in Cancun, Mexico. How could 3 or 4 ISP in 2 countries block at the very same time a server if they don't make a deal?

What application may I use to trace the connection?

And yes, you are right, my main site is nothing, what I care is the accounts I locally resell (they are offline too) and the new features my account lacks is what I need to do a jump.

I recommend using Visual Route to run the trace. After doing so, you can paste the results in here and let us have a look.

Also, it should be mentioned that we have received no other complaints about outages on Eclipse, and since your site is accessible to me and our support staff, it would appear that this issue is isolated to your domain.

What you may want to do is post a link to your main domain here and see if any of our other users can hit the site.

Ok, fastmail was able to contact at 10:00 pm (GMT -6:00) and I'm having a very low transfer like dialup on my ADSL connection.

I would say it's either a problem with your ISP or somewhere in the connection to HG. Since everyone else can connect to your domain, it would appear to be a problem on your end, particulary with certain ports being closed down periodically. Based on the type of sites you are hosting, is it correct to say that you are not based in the US?

If you DO think its a HostGator problem, you should try an independent analasis of your site using a free account with www.siteuptime.com . If there is a problem they will notify you and you can also do history reports of downtime on up to three different ports (WWW/POP3/SMTP). If siteuptime is reporting a problem, THEN you can complain to HG, otherwise please cut the HG team a little slack.

Right! after one day everybody can, because the web server it's online now, and fastmail.fm in US do not share the same ISP than me in MX, but share the same offline times than me.

I just tried all three URLs and accessed without a problem.

I am UK based and the time is 23:20 British Summer Time on Sunday 5th September.
