Recent WordPress 2.1.1 exploit and Fantastico
For all the users out there worrying about this exploit and scrambling to submit support tickets in order for us to immediately upgrade Fantastico to avoid this exploit, the version in Fantastico was never affected with this exploit to begin with: http://www.netenberg.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=5562 .
The version of 2.1.1 was released 11 days before the exploited version was available from WordPress itself. This means you can rest easy.
