Hello listers and host,

Just wanted to share my experience here. I come from a UK host called Fasthosts that has disappointed me once too much. Support was kind but your tickets were bounced back with a "we have no problem here". PHP did not perform too good, not to mention MySQL. My forum started not loading. Furthermore, their PHP was left at version 4.3.2.

So I started searching for a new host and chose HostGator. Quoting Eddie Cochran, it's "somethin' else". Uptime is great, support is responsive and the host does not hide technical issues. I find PHP/MySQL works so much better and faster.
