Ready to sign up...Baby or Swamp?

Hello.

I'm ready to sign up for an account. Not sure if I should get the baby account or go with the swamp account. Can someone tell me why I might need a private FTP? My website is 12 pages. One of those pages is currently for downloads. In the future, there will be more download pages. I don't know if that matters as far as which account to sign up for. Can someone help me figure this out? Thanks!

I assume you mean anonymous FTP? If so... you don't need it. Unless you plan on sharing files via FTP with people.

if hostgator is your primary host, then should go for baby plan where in future you might need more website to be setup here as well.

hatchling is only can have 1 domain hosted, this is the biggest concern.
