Reading the first threads posted.

So I could hope to get a better understanding of HG & sheer curiosity I went to the very last (means first post by date) theads in various forums and did a bit of reading of HG in the early years.

One post by a forum member (nearly 4 years ago to the day) posted his domain in his query. Upon checking his domain it's still live, still hosted on hostgator and the page hasn't been update since that day (April 2003) . . .

. . . amazing

OK . . . going back for another dig - it's quite interesting
