Re-seller package?

I have some questions about the re-seller packages.

I understand they come with the sales software/client software, however; for a portal or a website I will have to design or pick a CMS myself, correct?

Also, if anyone has any experience and or tips please let me know if the reseller packages are decent in terms of comparison to other companies.

I have had reseller packages with many other hosting companies, including one that i owned in the late 1990's. Hostgator has the best reseller packages and support of anyone.

They do their tech support live 24/7 from 2 offices located in Houston and Austin TX. The founder, Brent, is very active in the management of the company and will see that you are in good hands.

Are you left to create a website alongside the CMS for the purchases, or is their an included "website" aspect?

You can create any (almost) website you like. That's up to you.

HG provides a license for WHMCS which you can use if you like. You can customise the look of WHMCS to suit your requirements.
