RAM upgrade status on all boxes

We are in the process of upgrading all of our boxes to 4 gigs of ram.

This is over $75,000 worth of ram upgrades. It is all paid for, the datacenter has it, and all we are waiting for it is for them to put it in all the boxes.

This upgrade should speed up many of the servers as well as increase reliability significantly.

How far away is BMW from being upgraded to four GB of ram?

gator1-gator18 all upgraded accept for gator8-12


There are a few reseller boxes that still need to be upgraded such as bmw. we do not have an ETA yet, and I will be calling in tomorrow to try and get a status.

skyline , audi, and jaguar were also done tonight.

It sure would of been nice if you didn't upgrade the systems at 3PM on a Sunday. Most profesional organizations will perform upgrades in the middle of the night when most people sleep.

From what we've seen sunday is just as dead as 3am during the week. Don't get me wrong I do agree but at this point we just want to get them done by someone at the datacenter, that is experienced in case something goes wrong.

It is close to impossible to schedule anything with them.
bmw along with the rest of the shared boxes should be done tonight.

Does tah include Jetta? It seemd to be hitting 85% Plus often.

Would you say its true that half of the problems involved with being notified is because you lack the information too?

Ram has been upgraded on all boxes. I had to fly to Texas to get it done, but it is done. I still have a small list I'm working on with the datacenter for other things we need completed that is hardware related. Once this list is finished we will be setting up a better notification system.

Something as simple as a login page with raw details would suffice in my view. At least it would stop us all posting on the same subject when things are up in the air.
