Below is a copy of the email i have send to sales, a few moments ago, it expplain the headache i have since signing up with hostgator
Hi there, I am really having allot of problems since i signed up with you guys. I allready received my welcome message when i signed up about 72 hours ago, I could access controll panel and i even uploaded, but i could not see my index file when i load the site, although all my files are on the server. I then contacted live help, whom informed me here is a problem with my DNS and i have to place a ticket, so i did that, then i received your below welcome again, this time with different password (same username) and different IP. I then tried uploading again to the new IP and yes i could upload and i can also acces controll panel, but again i cannoy see the index file when trying to access it via http:// then i place ticket again and contact, and some real big idiot guy called James refuse to give me any help and told me to contact sales or support and provide al kinds of ID's and other detaisl, I then called the USA number given under Contact Us on you main page. The guy basically told me he vcannot help me and i have to get in touch with sales, asked for a phone number but were told you can only be contacted by email, so here i am. My domain name is http;//super-e-store.net My username is ; royalmic The password ; see the below email and also the attached. 1st: the domain super-e-store.net does not exist.
2nd: if I go to http://67.18.172.226/~royalmic (the temporary address) it says that "This Account Has Been Suspended" 3rd: The title of this thread is IDIOTIC!

I was recomended to Hostgator as they were reportedly a very good host. I am not arguing they are'nt i have just voiced my experience, which does not neccesary mean it is going to be everybody's experience blah blah blah... |

You are a lucky man then, like i said in my previous reply, this might be a isolated incident, and it might never happen to any-one else.
Below is my last email to hostgator, which after 1 hour i got no repsonse, so again went to LIve help. made reference to my ticket where the below email was posted in and a very helpfull guy (sorry forgot the name ) managed to send me a email within seconds with my new welcome message, new password, and yet again new IP. So very happy to report that my issue after almost 12 hours has now finally been resolved (i think) and now i am a happy customer because all are well. I bid you all farewell as i will not reply or post any further to this forum (untill i need help \ advise or have a problem again) Problem solved -- all are well Hi I have allready called and were told I will receive another welcome email within 15 minutes, it has been half an hour now, and I still have not received my welcome email. I am really getting very confused because I have already received 2 welcome emails today. I have attached both (in outlook message format). I then after several ticket post and telephone calls, received a email which said I should call sales to verify my account.I did call and verified, and was told I will receive a confirmation email within 15 minutes. That was more than half an hour ago. I have noticed that my site is now live, and the files I have uploaded are visible when I go to http://super-e-store.net I have not gone to CP, because with all the welcome emails I have received I am not sure what password to use anymore. Hope you could sort this mess out. Thanks Michael This issue has now been resolved.........

I have only read part of the thread becasue I dont feel like scrolling horrizontally.
However, as the domain was registred yesterday, and this complaint was posted yesterday, he didn't make Finn look like an idiot because he was right. He of course has shown he knows very little if anything about the DNS system as bugs and hickups are expected in the first 72hr and should be planned for. This complaint and problems he is having is just a temper tamtrum.
