Just a tip... Make an email signature with all your information and call it host gator support signature... that way you can submit tickets by emailing support@hostgator.com and then all you have to remember is the problem and if its a client of yours' domain to list...

This is an old thread but it is true I have been a customer for years and have both a reseller and a vps account that have grown through the years thanks to great support here thanks!

hola mi servidor www.teledataperu.com, no puedo ingresar a mis correos de webmail, tampoco al panel de control, parece como que el servidor se hubiera caido que puedo hacer.. no puedo comunicarme por chat con ustedes

no se lo que puede haber pasado pero no puedo comunicarme con ustedes a travez del chat, no se por que no puedo ingresar al webmail, tampoco al control de cpanel, es como si no tuviera linea.. o se demora en cargar..

not what might have happened but I can not communicate with you travez chat, do not know why I can not access the webmail, cpanel control not to, it is as if it had online .. or it takes to load

The information given is very important for newbies like us. The guidelines will help us do the right thing when it comes to technical support. We may get used to the system but it is still better to have this information as reference just in case we will forget something. Thank you for sharing the information.

Please, PLEASE! Stop responding to old posts (this one was from last November, for God's sake) just to say, "Thank you for the information."

Responding to old posts brings them into the "Updated Threads" category, causing the *real* forum members to think some information of value, or a new question, has been posted. But then we see your lame post and realize we've just wasted our time opening the thread.

So please - unless you have a legitimate question to ask, or some real advice to offer - just keep silent.

The problem is with the support that the quality is very different. You can go online one time and get WOW and two min later you go online and you get a guys who knows nothing.
