Just a tip... Make an email signature with all your information and call it host gator support signature... that way you can submit tickets by emailing support@hostgator.com and then all you have to remember is the problem and if its a client of yours' domain to list...

This is an old thread but it is true I have been a customer for years and have both a reseller and a vps account that have grown through the years thanks to great support here thanks!

The information given is very important for newbies like us. The guidelines will help us do the right thing when it comes to technical support. The problem is with the support that the quality is very different. You can go online one time and get WOW and two min later you go online and you get a guys who knows nothing.
