Default Question about simple dns zone editor

Hello,

I was a happy customer and now considering return to hostgator again.

There was one function that was missing during the time I quitted is the ability to edit the DNS setting for my domains.

Today I have a look to your cpanel demo again and I found the simple dns zone editor is finally available.

My question is that, does the dns editor also works for addon domains?

I know your support staff could helps on dns things but I would rather do it myself through cpanel actually.

Ok, let me answer my own question and see if this help someone who also care about this

Simple DNS Zone editor works for add-on domains and MX entries, EXCEPT the 'mail' subdomain. The mail subdomain is a restricted one and you still need to contact support for helps if you need to modify say mail.yourdomain.com subdomain.

I endup returned to hostgator, and decided to stay with my own dns server and not using the dns server provided by hostgator. I prefer having total and un-restricted control on my name entries....
