All,
I just created an online image gallery the other day using the "Gallery" application under Fantastico. I placed it in one of my subdomains, under a directory called photos. Now, when I set my path in the URL to view the images without using WWW, the images from the photoshoot show up fine. However, when I use the WWW, the images do not appear. My client pointed this out when she tried viewing the photos that I recently took. Here are the links to illustrate my issue: This works: http://practicesite.info/photos/main.php This does not: http://www.practicesite.info/photos/main.php Is there a setting in the Cpanel that I need to check or change? I checked the file manager, and everything is located within the photos subdirectory, which in turn is within the practicesite.info directory, inside www. Thanks everyone. Mike |

when adding your pictures to the gallery what path are you using? e.g. /photos/photoname or practicesite.info/photos/photoname PS. Best to not post support questions in the pre-sales forum. A support forum would have been better.

My guess would be hotlinking.
(providing you are on a shared server) Check if you have hot linknig protection enabled, and if you do, you'll need to add both urls to the allowed to hot link list. It's kind of weird, but in a shared environment, you need to add each of your domains, with www and w/o if your .htaccess accepts both urls as valid. |
