Question Regarding Reseller Account

Hi

Looking through the forum most of my questions have been answered, one thing I couldn't find an answer to though is the following.

Some reseller providers offer additional space, say 100MB extra for the main account and the advertised space is all available for reselling, is this the case with HostGator or does the space you use for the main account come out of the space advertised?
