Default Question about PHPList and 200 email connections/hour cap.

I read in this other post about the 200 email connections/hour cap.
http://forums.hostgator.com/showthread.php?t=1332

I use PHPList, and I have around 1500 members subscribed to a mailing list. I haven't been sending newsletter for some time, but want to restart sending some news and announcements to them... (btw, just to make it clear, it is not spam... people can subscribe/unsubscribe the mailing list at anytime).

I read on that post that there would be no problem in sending, for example, 3000 emails on MailMan.

My Question:
If I try to send my newsletter to these 1500 members through PHPList, will it work, or will only the first "200" members receive the newsletter?

Thanks.

Re: Need clarification on '200 email' cap
For mailing list why are you using pop? You should use sendmail or mailman which has no limits this is the correcty way to send.
