Question Question About Multiple Domains

I have a Baby Hosting plan and need to know if this will work with it.

I create flyers for real estate agents and host them on my server so we can send out in emails. I charge for the creation of the flyer but not for the hosting portion. One agent has just stated he wants the http link to have his name appear - not my domain name. I'm thinking I can buy another domain and host it through my baby plan. Is this correct?

Thanks

Yes, correct. Purchase the domain name, then make it an addon domain on your account. Let's say your new domain is example.com. The files for it will then be in a subdirectory of public_html, like public_html/example_com. To the outside world, it will appear as if example.com is a completely separate, independent website, having nothing to do with yours. Only you and HG will know that it's hosted on the same account.

Okay, that's what I thought but just wanted to confirm.

Thanks!

Here we should add the obligatory "but don't create the directory yourself. cPanel will make it when you create the add-on domain. You don't need to accept cPanel's suggestion about what to name the directory, but it can't be a directory that already exists."
