I'm confused about the term multiple domains offered by hostgator. Can someone help me understand exactly what is being offered? Is it:
1) I pay a single fee but get the right to create more than one website (say: one site about my hobbies and another site about mycompany). or, in the case of "reseller packages", one site for my client A, and another one for my client B). Each of these websites would have its own domain, e.g., "myhobby.com" and "mycompany.com". OR 2) I pay a single fee and I can now use multiple domain names to reach the same site. |

With all but the Hatchling plan you can host separate sites with multiple domains. With the reseller accounts you can set up accounts with separate cPanels and can resell hosting accounts to others. With the shared accounts you can use the addon domain feature in cPanel to create separate sites using multiple domains. You can also park domains to point to the same site.

Thanks. That helps.
